The Cayman International Television Network, or CITN, is privately owned and began broadcasting in the islands in 1992. They offer a free over-the-air network, which broadcasts local and international news, as well as entertainment programmes, 24 hours a day.
The CITN hosts Cayman 27 News, 27 Tonight and Daybreak, popular news shows in the islands. They also offer a 35-channel cable service of international programmes by subscription.
